Club Chairman’s Message

I am delighted to share that The Clearwater Bay Champions Cup will break new ground this year. The Ladies’ Doubles Invitational, taking place on 1 and 2 November, will be the Club’s first women’s doubles event—and the first time we feature WTA players and host a tournament alongside a WTA event, the Prudential Hong Kong Tennis Open. Held at Victoria Park, the Invitational will feature leading WTA players for an exciting match day..

A longstanding fixture in our sporting calendar, the Champions Cup has always enjoyed strong support from our members and the wider tennis community. As a sports club, promoting sport remains central to our mission. This year, we are taking the Champions Cup beyond Clearwater Bay and hosting it at the home of tennis in Hong Kong—Victoria Park Centre Court. The event will be free to access and open to the public, allowing the entire Hong Kong tennis community to enjoy.

Looking ahead, The Clearwater Bay Champions Cup—Men’s Doubles Invitational 2027 will be held in January alongside the Bank of China Hong Kong Tennis Open 2027, with our Ambassador Coleman Wong competing against ATP players. Stay tuned for further updates.
